I had an idea. It always starts with an idea.  The actual writing  began many years  ago, when my kids were in school. It was so difficult! But as the  story began to build my excitement grew. The characters began to assert themselves,  often surprising me. 

 My kids would rush home from school hungry for a snack. I would feed them a new chapter. Okay, so they would find their own snack. They are good foragers. 

I  put the manuscript away for months at a time. I pulled it out again, drawn in by my little world.  

It will never be perfect, but I’m okay with that. 

I love your feedback! Hearing from readers is better than chocolate cake. (Unless I’m  really really hungry).
